Austin has decided that it's time for us to get another pup. I've always had labs, but I wouldn't be against trying another breed if things worked out. I can't see myself spending big bucks on a high bred registered champ, so I'm looking for a reasonably priced dog that will be a buddy and retrieve ducks and geese. I don't care about papers, or how good he would be in field trials. I only want a companion that I can train to make ME happy.
Please keep your eyes and ears open, and let me know if you hear of someone with a lab pup (or 2) for sale relatively cheap.

I know a guy that has a yellow lab that is a few months old. He got it at a PF or DU event... had a few too many drinks and the rest is history. He's a great little dog, very smart, and house trained. I can see if they are still looking to get rid of him. I personally would have it, if I had the room and time for another one.

I sent him a text, waiting for a reply. I will repost as soon as he gets back to me. Oh and the dog is around kids constantly and he has an older Lab and a 1 year old Lab/Chessie mix. So the new puppy should be great around other dogs and kids. he is really a looker too, very good coat and cute as a button.
